Mike Hodge is an award-winning writer from Tampa, who writes about fly fishing and the outdoors. After 25 years in newspapers and magazines, he has now turned his creative energy toward Redfish Tales. His work has appeared in The New York Times, the Boston Globe, The Sporting News, The Drake and Fly Fisherman Magazine. As for the sporting life, Mike enjoys saltwater fly fishing skinny water in pursuit of tailing redfish. In between new moon tides, he finds time to pal around with his best friend, Twink, a female black Lab. He is the author of On the Fly in the Bay and is working on a second book, Friends Forever, a series of profiles on random fly fishermen encountered during a lifetime of angling.
